The Client’s Goal

A large manufacturer and global exporter requested a Managers’ Coaching Skills program , as part of a change management initiative, to prepare its supervisors for the future. The program’s goal: to incorporate the use of Solution Focused Coaching in their everyday life with their team.

Our Approach

We designed a coaching program that would enable participants to use solution focused coaching with their team, by including practical examples, personalized coaching sessions and tailor-made exercises. At the same time, we introduced a strength-based assessment that helps managers to identify their own strengths & raise self-awareness into using them in their role.

The Results from Phase 1: Solution Focused Coaching workshop

Following the initial phase, participants spent two days learning and practicing techniques on how to coach their team, the Solution Focused way. The workshop took place in a very creative and open-learning environment, in which Treasure Lab received the following feedback.

As the Table shows, participants were asked to answer the question “What part of the program did you find the most interesting?”, rating on a 5-1 scale where 5 stands for the most interesting part. Participants mentioned the Strengths Assessment as their best (4.59 out of 5 rating), followed by the Solution Focused Coaching Methodology (with a 4.56 out of 5 score). Then Practice & Group Exercises followed with  4.31,  while Personal Exercises/Self-Awareness and Experience Sharing scored 4.22 and 4.18 respectfully.

Another important question that was asked: “What did you gain that will assist you in your job?”. Some of the responses were:
